  1. Spot on! All the other posts I found were suggesting making sure that the account had full read to the Web Application – like many others, mine had those permissions. Your suggestion above worked for me – thanks very much for sharing.

  2. Rock and Roll: It fixed an issue I had with people search in a on prem SharePoint 2013 install build with SPAutoInstaller. I wonder if this can’t be added to the config for AutoSPInstaller. Also I notice you don’t need UPS to work as there are some basic user profile properties populated on first touch of SharePoint default WebApp
